There is no way to tell, because they don't say what the actual bracelet chain is made of. Bottom line, if you really want it and can't find it anywhere else, then it is worth $100.00 to you. It looks like they do offer a guarantee, so maybe you can return it if you get it and it's flimsy or cheap-looking. They advertise a "certificate of authenticity", but who knows what that means. .

I have not tried it yet but I am sure it doesn't smell like cat pee! It should be appropriate to wear to anything at all!
